Himalayan outdoors, Spiti, Kaza

The client: Karanbir bedi, a journalist, quit the corporate life, travelled across south america with only a backpack. He's even mapped the longest and most treacherous routes on a scooter, motorbike and on rare occasions by foot. Been there done that, the next challenge, to bring people into his world and show them what they've been missing.

The initial meeting, meant to be 30 minutes, lasted 5 hours [with karan’s stories stretching from the various corners of our planet]. Himalayan shepherd was to operate in spiti valley, kaza with hotel deyzor as it’s base station. We traveled with karanbir to kaza, experienced everything first hand.

Pepped and inspired, we began with a simple brief. To develop a brand identity reflecting karan’s passion and vision. A backpack, a dog, exotic mountain peaks had to be obvious. The shepherd stems from a human-like brand persona which we developed to create curiosity, to invite people into his world and build an emotional connect.
